Wallabies - Jousting – “Cop That”

What is the difference between kangaroos and wallabies?

The most striking difference is their size. While a kangaroo can reach a towering two meters, their more petite relatives range from between 30 cm to just one meter. Their heights are reflected on the scales, with roos weighing in at up to 91 kilos. Wallabies, by comparison, manage a modest maximum of just 24.

Wallabies are members of the kangaroo clan found primarily in Australia and on nearby islands. There are many wallaby species, grouped roughly by habitat: shrub wallabies, brush wallabies, and rock wallabies. Hare wallabies are named for their size and their hare-like behavior.
